PreVisit
Before you come in, you will receive in email reminder 3 days prior to your appointment, and a text confirmation 1 day before. If something comes up and you are not able to make your scheduled appointment, please email me right away at skbeautyne@gmail.com.
Pull up Pinterest and get ready to show me your inspiration photos! It is great to see WHERE we are going with your hair. Also, I’ll ask you for them anyway!
Beachy curls or pin straight hair, come with your clean hair styled how you typical wear it. This gives me an idea of how you like your hair so that I can replicate it and give you product recommendations.
What to Wear
Please wear something comfortable, neutral, and old. I will drape you with a cape and towels, but sometimes color can sneak through and stain clothes. We will take after photos of your hair, so preferably no bright colors or loud patterns.

I accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and Apple Pay. Yes, that includes tap!
How to Prepare
Your First Visit
SK Beauty is located at 1302 Verges Ave. Google maps will take you to a big gray brick building, also where Starwood Dental is located. Please go to the lower east side of the building, you will see my logo on the door. Please feel free to park right by the sidewalk.
Once you arrive, feel free to come in. There is a waiting room and a bench for you to relax if you are early.
Your Consultation Matters
My consultation will go in depth on your hair goals and hair history. I will ask questions about your inspiration photos you bring.
We will talk about normal day to day hair wear and what products you use at home. I never want my guests to feel embarrassed about hair history. We all do things that we regret. But it’s my job to get you to your dream hair while maintaining its health. I will always be real with you went it comes to what to expect at your appointments.
I never want you to feel pressured when I give you product recommendations. If what you currently use works for you then that’s great! But I also have products that I recommend based on issues you may be having.
After the service, we will take photos of your beautiful hair! I rely on these photos to build my business on all platforms. And don’t worry, we do not need to show your face. I have poses I have mastered and I will guide you to stand exactly how I need you. Please note that if you do not see your photo on social media, It could be because the hair was misplaced, the lighting did me dirty, or I just have not posted them yet. I won’t let you leave my salon with work I’m not proud of.
Policies
Life happens, and I get that. Please let me know if you plan on not being on time, or if you cannot make your scheduled appointment as soon as possible.
I always ask if there’s anything you’d like to adjust when it comes to your hair. I give 5 days after the service to let me now if there’s anything that needs to be altered with hair color or cut. After the 5 days, there will be a full charge to change anything. I want to make sure you love your hair, but after so many washes or styling, that can change the way your hair looks.
